Support for Teenage Parents
You're Not Alone — We're Here for You and Your Baby
Compassionate, non-judgmental support to help young parents build confidence, develop parenting skills, and create a nurturing home for their child.
Parenting Is Hard. You Deserve Support.
Becoming a parent as a teenager brings incredible joy — and real challenges. Between caring for a newborn, finishing school, managing finances, and figuring out your own future, it can feel like too much to carry alone.
Rise & Thrive is here to walk alongside you. Our Support for Teenage Parents program provides hands-on guidance, emotional encouragement, and practical tools so you can feel confident and capable as a parent — without judgment, without pressure.

How Rise & Thrive Supports You
Our support is tailored to where you are right now — whether you just brought your baby home or you're navigating the challenges of parenting while still in school.
Parenting Skills Coaching
We work with you one-on-one to build confidence in caring for your baby — feeding, soothing, safe sleep, developmental milestones, and creating routines that work for your life.
Emotional Support & Encouragement
Parenting can feel isolating. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, process your feelings, and be reminded that you are doing better than you think.
Life Skills Development
From budgeting and time management to self-care and healthy routines — we help you build the everyday skills that make life more manageable for you and your child.
Educational & Career Planning
Your future matters. We help you set goals, stay connected to school or GED programs, explore career paths, and plan for the life you want to build for yourself and your family.
Navigating Resources & Benefits
We help you understand and access community resources — childcare assistance, WIC, housing support, healthcare, and other programs available to young parents in the DMV area.
Connection to Support Networks
You don't have to figure this out alone. We connect you with local support groups, community organizations, and other young parents who understand what you're going through.
